Steve Antin is an actor who portrayed Troy Perkins in The Goonies.
Life and career[]
Born on April 19, 1958 in Queens, New York, Antin moved to Los Angeles to follow a career in acting.
His earliest role was in the music video for Rick Springfield's song "Jesse's Girl", where he played the titular "Jessie". He starred in numerous films in the 80s alongside The Goonies, such as The Last American Virgin, Penitentiary III, and The Accused, as well as a few episodes of television shows like Silver Spoons and Quincy M.E..
He publicly came out as gay in the late 80s and was notably the boyfriend of business mogul David Geffen.
His last acting role was as a detective in six episodes of NYPD Blue. He has since moved to a behind-the-scenes role, writing and producing for movies like Burlesque and Proud Mary.
