Michael Paul Chan (June 26, 1950) is an actor who portrayed Data's father in The Goonies.
Life and career[]
Born on June 26, 1950 in San Francisco, California, Chan helped found the Asian American Theater Company.
He has acted in several television shows, such as Arrested Development, The Wonder Years, Bones, and The Young and the Restless. He acted in both Joel Schumacher Batman films, Batman Forever and Batman and Robin as a different character in each.
His most well-known role was as Lieutenant Michael Tao on The Closer.
